this is absolutely ridicolous. ive been trying to log in for 3 hours now and still cant log in.
this is just getting retarded, the devs really really need to work on a better log in system. or make a new channel.
everyones saying how the other channel will require a brand new account.
its very simple to make it so that accounts can cross over channels, if i could write my own script for that on maplestory, im sure it can be done here.
and if the devs dont know how to do that, we may need some more experienced devs

The server's down at the moment. Noone can say when it will be backup so don't ask. You can check the server status here: http://www.playerdex...rver_Status.swf
Oh and do you mean servers rather than channels?

first of all, its servers, not channels.
second the DEVs have tried using multiple servers, but the DB corrupts and crashes constantly. the only reason it takes a rediculous time to get into the server is bcos they imposed an unrealistic limit on how many people can get in a mimute, which is about 25.
if they doubled this limit we'd see less complaints about the 'too many requests'. however i saw someone suggested a 'line waiting system'.
i think they may be working on multi DB support, however dont quote me on that

Just be patient, overnight the servers could be down for as long as six hours!
What matters most though is that the server might have not just crashed.. they could simply be updating the game.
Whatever the case may be though - please realize they are doing their best and that there are other things you can do to preoccupy yourself while the server is down.. :3

I think... if it is possible to extend the amount of people that are allowed to get in to the server from i think is 600 to i don't know.. as much as admins can
thats my opinion
Well the server could hold up more people (sure it was 800 in the past) but they decided to reduce it due to the server going seriously lagging or something when near the limit.

Do something else while you wait. Raid Wikipedia for it's wealth of knowledge, watch some Pokemon episodes online, socialize on forums,go outside and work on your tan...
I wouldn't know anything about how to fix this issue with channels and servers, but I can imagine it's really difficult to program and run an mmo.Maybe if people do have experience in these things, they can submit their resume to them.
