Hey i just downlaoded the game and registered but when i try to update it doenst work(windows tells me its stopped working), and when i run the game it cannot connect to the server? i thought at 1st that the game wasnt active but then saw the updates with halloween ect so...
any suggestions?

The game server is currently down.. and I think the update won't work when it is down too.

.. but welcome to PWO! Don't be discouraged by our server being down! This usually means it is updating - or crashed.. but I'm seeing some small changes so it might be an update!

If you have a black login screen, you might want to check my signature below and take care of both of these commons problems before you actually try to enter the game again!

i assumed that teh servers were down for maintenance or something but needed to check incase it wasnt, coz i noticed that the server status on the homepage wasnt loading eitehr >.<
i will defo try this game out one way or another, been playing all the old games latly

To be honest, PWO has the best community by far that I've seen so far - and I've went through a lot of MMO communities..

yeah i played ALOT of online games in my time and im looking for a fill til global adgenda or FFXIV comes , most mmo communities cant help noobs into the game, i hate that >.>
anyone got any idea when the servers will be up? im eager to start playing lol

sorry just looked about the forums i seen that noone knows when it will be back up >.<, is there an active team here that communicate with the players through forums? or will they just let us know when it IS up?

Sometimes if it is an update or a major problem the admins/DEVs may let us know. Unfounlately noone can say when it will be backup but you can check on the server status here -> http://www.playerdex...rver_Status.swf

I don't know so unless someone been keeping count. The server is usually down for a few hours if it has crashed, if it was a major then it could take a few days but lets hope for the best.
