Here's my idea: You pay 1b to buy an npc to place in the game. In return, you get to pick the npc's name and pick up to 6 pokemon for that npc. IN return, when the game leaves beta, that npc gets carried over, leaving you a nice memorial. This idea wouldn't cost the devs anything but time and remove pokemoney from the game while letting longer term players leave their mark in the game.

Its not offended me at all, because the reason acceptable. I also hope it become stable since every Pokemon costing million or even more, its real hard to afford it. That's not the only ways to solve the problem, admin may restart everyone poke money. Rather do thing that are not fair to other that we are not affordable, why not make a poll and let people cast? Let hear everyone fell and thought?

Well i do like the idea of being able to NAME npcs, but not to chose pokes for several reasons. Part of the reasons go along with me being a quest writer, i try to pick pokemon for npcs base on the background information of the npc, such as if it was a burglar it would make more sense for the npc to have say a wheezing than a dratini.

As well as i think assigning pokemon to npcs depends on where there at in the region, i dont think a npc should have a dratini early in the game, likewise a npc on a water surrounded island should have a charizard.

So like i said i think naming npcs wouldnt be a bad idea, like anyone can assign a name to bugcatcher "chose name here", and perhaps maybe have times when what pokemon the npc has doesnt matter maybe do a raffle? Most certainly make the game bit more interesting.

It will be not fair if its costing 1 million or even more, please be alert. Not everyone have so MUCH times to play Pokemon and trained it, after that sell it. For me and all of my friends, we current had less than 100k. Its not because we are "newbie" but we have study, work and also plans for our future. Noting come important than those, its alright if you like to count on parent, its alright if you don't like study or work. Its alright if you are a gamer, but you can't ensure other people are like you. please be more considerate for other people. Game is part entertainment and also relaxing, so i had no object that its bad playing Pokemon world online. If i have offend you then i am sorry. If your going to object what i said that then just too bad, its the fact.

It's people like you make it nearly impossible to fix the economy humanely. THis is NOT something for the average player - it's designed to target the Elites to help take pokemoney out of the game. It's designed to get rid a lot of excess pokemoney without causing too much change to the game. We don't want a ton of player-bought npcsa.

Hmm......
Why don't you make it such that you first choose a location for your NPC to stand at. The location determines how many types of NPCs are allowed, which you then choose from. For example, Ilex forest probably would not have a dragon tamer NPC as an option. After choosing the type of NPC, the player would then be able to choose from a list of pokemon , that correspond logically to the NPC, to choose for the NPC to hold. Next, the total price of the NPC would then be determine by factors such as Base price of the NPC which could depend on the location, the amount of pokemon he have, the level of the pokemon per pokemon and the type of NPC.

So probably, this can both limit the type, number and level of pokemon the NPC would have. The more pokemon the NPC have, the more you have to pay. The higher the level of pokemon per pokemon the NPC have, the more you've got to pay. Shinies would then probably cost ALOT. Legendaries might probably be out of the list of pokemon to choose from. :P

sounds like a pretty decent idea :D

It would be cool if guilds or friends could pool money together to buy an NPC as well :D

What the player is buying isn't just an npc - it's a monument to his/her name that's going to stay in the game. The reason for the price to be so high is two fold: we don't want the game flouded with player-bought npcs and we do want a lot of pokemoney drained out of the economy to lower pirces.

I don't mind if guilds pull their resources together to buy 1 or 2 npcs to get a max of 40 player bought npcs and 20 guild-bought npcs.

Im sorry I did not understand it very well. I am agree at the time with your idea since it has benefits and simultaneously is recognized the effort of the people who played a long time. ;)
